I just popped in to the practice of the band that will be opening up for us on Thursday nite. They are called Finding Noah. And they TOTALLY rock!
Check out their sound on www.myspace.com/findingnoah
Its the "official site" - but lead singer Jacques actually doesn't know who created it.
Cool site though and at least its a great place to hear some of their tunes. My favourite is called "Always and Forever". Such a great song - to put you in a good mood.
Rumour has it that they might do a cover of my favourite Snow Patrol song.
I expect they will kick off sometime after 8pm.

Oh yes it rocked!
We had a great time at Bluesroom last Wednesday the 22nd of March. The crowd was amped and that made us push harder. People were really enjoying – Make u mine and Sinatra. Hey thats nice considering that Make u mine is only a two gigs old. My favourite bands of the nite were Desmond and the Tutus (mad, funky and highly, highly original rock – you must check them out!) and Obita (jamming, hip hop fusion).
Pictures of that gig are coming soon. For now check out the pics from the Bluesroom acoustic nite the week before. This was a very different gig and we decided to try some new things – with Andrew playing on a very minimalist drum kit and doing more singing than drumming. The Politics came thru and put on an awesome show!! Very versatile band with a diverse sounds. Was a chilled nite of great tunes.
